Honda Mobilio facelift unveiled in Indonesia

Honda has introduced the Mobilio facelift in Indonesia. The refreshed model gets some changes on the exteriors and interiors. Mechanically though it remains identical to the earlier version. This facelift is the first big change for the Mobilio, ever since it was globally launched in 2014.

The Mobilio facelift gets a revamped design at the front, which includes a new grille, re-contoured hood, and a redesigned pair of headlights. The headlamps are sleeker compared to the older model and are also equipped with LED DRLs. Additionally, the MPV gets a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Mobilio facelift gets new seats with separated and adjustable headrests. The second row of seats has been given thicker cushions to aid comfort. Other features added to the cabin include new steering-mounted switches, a 6.8-inch touchscreen A/V system with 6 speakers, new automatic climate control and a redesigned instrument cluster.

In Indonesia, the new Honda Mobilio continues to be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine that generates 116 BHP @ 6,600 rpm. This engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. Safety features on offer include dual SRS airbags, seatbelt pretensioners with load limiters, 3-point seatbelts for the second row and ISOFIX child seat mounts. It also comes with Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and ABS + EBD.
