Hero XPulse concept bike revealed at EICMA 2017

Hero MotoCorp has unveiled its new off-road adventure bike at EICMA in Milan, Italy. The Hero XPulse concept is touted to be the replacement for the Impulse and is rumoured to arrive by the end of 2018.

The XPulse comes with an off-road spec front fender, hand guards and a short windshield. The raised handle bar gets a padded crossbar. The concept bike features an LED headlight as well as a digital instrument panel. Leg guards with auxiliary LED lamps have also been provided along with crankcase protection. The concept bike comes equipped with panniers and gets a rear mounted luggage rack.

As seen in the teaser image released by company earlier, the Hero XPulse concept bike features a larger diameter front wheel and long travel suspension. The telescopic forks are equipped with rubber gaiters. It employs a box-section rear swing arm and monoshock suspension. The wire-spoke wheels on the concept bike are shod with Metzeler Enduro 3 off-road tyres. It gets disc brakes at both ends.

The single-cylinder, air-cooled engine is based on the Xtreme 200 and is tuned for off-road use. However, the company hasn’t revealed the engine's power figures yet.
