@akki: yes the DRL's are active. So in a day setting, they're on all the time. The light goes off only when the side lights come on. Looks pretty nifty !

Congratulations buddy. Definitely has royal looks. Was one of the top contenders during my buying process but was skeptical about A**. Interior pics would do more justice to the thread I guess.

1.6L Congrats Premjit!
I'm having impression that FE would not be that good as compared to that of 1.2 (at least in the city driving). Kindly share your FE numbers in city as well as for the highways

Fantastic choice you made there. IMHO, Fabia 1.6 makes slightly more sense than the Polo 1.6. Fabia wins all the votes when it comes to interior space and legroom on the rear seat and ofcourse the boot volume.

Congratulations on the new ride! There seem to be a few 1.6 Fabias lining up on Team BHP now!

The white is the right colour for the city youre in and should be easy to maintain. The 110 you have clocked is really only the tip of the iceberg and hitting 150 is not too difficult - not sure how the calcutta roads are now!

The DRLs are pretty cool but can get annoying with people telling you the lights are on!

1500 km exclusively in Delhi and NCR and I have been getting 13.2 to 13.6 km/l in tank to tank method on Feb 11 Fabia 1.6. No long highway driving so far. Average speed in each trip is 30 to 40 kmph (as per the multi function display), which may be lower in other cities.

Max speed done is 150 kmph on a short stretch on the chaotic NH24 near Ghaziabad. Car has amazing acceleration even from 120 to 150 kmph making high speed overtaking easy.

Fellow FABians. Soon to be, rather ! It took me a while on this forum to spot this thread, but it sent me into deep thought into the future ie, 12 days from now which is when I will have my White steed.
