Yea.. thats the idea..I need to know where i am going. Great visibility in night rain as well (just checked out,, its raining here in pune). per se i am trying to find that perfect 30 degree view

If I aim them up, then the beam travels almost 300 meter and spread is suppperb.

Expert can tell how to aim them well!

Be careful- two wheelers and autos have tendency to squeeze in between bumper to bumper cars. Get the base reinforcement done nicely- bumpers cost 10k+.

won't the lights be affecting the breathing? They're partially covering the front grill.

Also, me thinks fog lamps in front would be awesome, just to complete the family

Unpainted bumpres like in LX cost less. I think that the plain bumper is ~ Rs. 3.5K. It is the painting that escalates the price
(atleast in a TASS)

When you go for fitting the reinforcement(s) please take photographs. It will be usefull for all. From what we discussed, 3L has a reinforcement just under the bumper which enabled Suman to fix his on the bumper. In your case please fix up the reinforcements since the 2.2L does does have the beam and flexing of the bumper will happen.

Also as mentioned by BJ please be carefull in bumper to bumper traffic with these Hellas. A rickshaw broke one of mine (on the Sierra) .

Ex and above vehicles which have built in fogs, may have a battery / charging overload with all lights on (including the additional fogs, if fitted)

Absolutely

The reinforcement would be in place before embarking on the trip. After the trip, they would be off and put to rest until situation demands, as they are plug n play and couplers have been used judiciously.

In bumper to bumper traffic , yes thats a concern, i guess i will leave enough distance between front vehicle eg. 7-8ft instead of usual 4 feet . I love my hella's.

Sorry I was uttterly wrong in my information it seems, but the bumpers are better fixed that 2.2 in 3.0 case
