The ultimate sedan BMW 7 Series (730LD) : Edit - Now bought

Hi Guys, just got some good news back from India. My family just informed me that they have ordered a 7 series sedan !! Woo Hoo, I am excited and my mind is going crazy with excitement.

The car ordered is a 730LD in cashmere silver (goldenish silver) with oyster nappa leather. The car is expected in 1st Week of July.

It is costing almost 95 L. after registration and insurance. Wooh, my father was going crazy thinking about spending so much on a car LOL !! We made him do it.

I would like to thank everyone at Team BHP for their support and of course God almighty !!

Omar

P.S. I can't wait to get back to India, once my summer vacations start.

The new 7 has the looks to die for; I haven't driven one properly yet, though expect to soon (friend buying one on my reco). You can say I am completely & totally smitten by the car. It really is a heck of a luxo-barge while the diesel probably makes the most sense in India.

Congratulations! I can imagine the excitement, you better come down for delivery & post a detailed ownership report.

I saw a 730 D in blue near sai baba temple in cambride layout. First thing that strikes you is the fact that its too long.
I think its a older model but still looked good.

Congratulations! omaragra

Congrats on the new car!!

BTW, read that this new 7 has sometime as 'rear wheel steer' which helps driving in tight places.. Can someone explain what it is??? And how it works?

I love the simple lines of the New 7, the BAck LEDS and the grand Kidney grille up front give the car a much more sophisticated feel than the earlier model!

The new one is musch better than the old one the earlier model's "Dikki !!" was horrible, it was designed by Chris Bangle, so it was called the Bangle Butt !! LOL

By the way I really like your car, the interior is amazing, much much better looking than the 3 series and C class. I never expected it to be soooo good, it's a real eye catcher.

Omar

P.S. I hope you get that dent fixed soon, I know how it feels, I banged my Fiat 500 and oh man I was cursing myself, got it fixed from the Honda guys because I don't trust the local Fiat dealer in Agra and didn't want to take my car to Delhi.

You take care of the 7'er. The cabbies and the rick drivers are not good for your car's health. *They are everywhere*
