Another plan for Pune guys: We can meet early say 9AM at Wakad, then head towards Karla Caves, which is just 8 kms towards Mumbai from Sunny Dhaba on old highway, roam around Karla (and have b'fast), and we can join the Mumbai convoy at Karla junction on Mumbai highway at 12-12:15 PM and head towards Dhaba for lunch . Any other suggestion is welcome.

The plan is to meet for Breakfast at Pawna Dam and then for lunch at Sunny Da.

So I guess it is wise to meet up around 7:00-7:15 AM, group up in Wakad and head to Pawna for breakfast. Then group up with the Mumbai Bhpians and head to Sunny Da Dhaba for lunch.

Looking forward to a grand meet !

I am fine either way. Never been to Karla, sounds interesting. Let's see what suits to other guys from Pune.

I am starting from Bavdhan (near Chandni Chowk) and Wakad is hardly 15 minutes drive from my place.

Great! Let's meet up then @ 7:15 AM near Wakad, may be just ahead of Wakad near My Car showroom of MSIL. There's flyover work In-progress at wakad and is normally crowded even in early mornings.

I am returning Pune on Saturday late night. Though I will try, but early Sunday morning at 7 am seems not possible for me. If okay with others then, you can carry on, I will catch you all at Sunny's.

I am not aware of any whatsapp group as such, but I have posted about this meet at the Pune Tbhp Tapri Meet thread as well. Also, I have PM'd a few Bhpians who might join in as well.

I suggest meeting on the Palm Beach stretch (if thats not too off-course for most), many coming in from Mumbai suburbs prefer to take the Airoli-Ghansoli road as its a faster commute. Besides waiting on the Palm Beach road is a better option as most can pull over and wait there calmly. I suggest the stretch of the Lake (Pond) just ahead of Training Ship Chanakya Between Neral and Palm Beach.

I live in the suburbs and generally come from the new SCLR free way, but Palm beach is also kewl . The pond stretch is the same one before the huge NMMC building right?

Since most of you are on four-wheels, I assume you will be using the expressway for easy and fast commute.

Me and safaroy are yet to finalise if we are coming in the Safari or on our bikes. The pleasant weather makes for a nice motorcycling break. So most probably we will be riding down to the venue. In that case, we will use the Old Highway and catch up with you all at Pawna Dam.

The MCdonalds just before the Expressway is quiet chaotic on Sunday mornings.

We might take the old highway as well, as its more enjoyable than expressway . let's first meet near wakad and then we can decide our ways towards Pawna dam.
