Must admit, the bike looks transformed now Yogi. The earlier paint/graphics scheme was honestly hideous. Happy riding and remember ATGATT.

Cheers.

Thanks bro, I strongly agree that the previous paint scheme and graphics were total crap. I dont know how the previous 2 3 o 4 owners would ride it that way. It was pure insult for the legendary steelie.
Was running on N number of jugads, which were sorted and replaced with all OEM stuff. Well now i can say that this beast wont break down in between.

Well now something more big is planed on the cards, if that thing works out well, it would look much much much better than what it looks now.

Manson, bro need your help on the F4 which i have got!!!

Its 1999 Make CBR F4 and it has the HISS system on it.
I have got 3 Keys with the bike, the previous owner said one of them is the chip key or master key something. Other is the starting key regular one and the last key is the seat lock rear set key.
Now the problem is I am not aware how this HISS thing works.
Can you please help me with it.
How does the HISS activates and under what situations does the immobilizer kicks in ?
If someone tries to fiddle around with the ignition on the bike will i be never able to start the bike again?
If the HISS locks the system can i use the master key to unlock it.
Scratching my brains to understand how this thing works. Pls help
here is the pic for your reference

My 954 is a Honda Intelligent Security System enabled bike and from the looks of it, one of the previous owners of your bike has fiddled around with the HISS + Lock set.
To get you started:
Is there a red blinking light marked as HISS on the console? It blinks for 24 hours after the last time from the key being removed.
Also, not sure if there are exceptions here, but a single key should be good for ignition, tank lock and seat lock. The tank and seat lock require fewer wafers of the same key to sink compared to the ignition.

In your case, you have mentioned that you have separate keys for seat lock and ignition, which implies that one of the locks has been changed at some point. If the bike was HISS enabled, changing the ignition lock would also require one to swap the ECU to go with the coded key.

Tell you what, swing by my workplace once you're down on the 9th and we could look it up over chai coffee.

Re: My '93 Honda CBR 600 F2

Thanks Bro, could be the seat lock has been changed, to be very frank I have not seen or started the bike myself so cant really say how the keys work. PM me your workplace address & phone number and i would be more than happy to meet you bro.
Had asked my father to warmup the vehicle and from what he said was, once he put the key on green light came on and went off within seconds and then holding the clutch he cranked it and the bike started.

Re: My '93 Honda CBR 600 F2

Ordered a few blank keys without chips and few chips separately. Waiting for the stuff to come in and will post a DIY how to program new keys to the ECU.
Some more parts have been ordered and on the way and some delivered already.
Once the rains are over both the bikes are going for service and tuneup

F4 Parts:
1)Fork Oil Seals & Dust Seals
2)Wind Screen
3)Brake Pads
4)Oil Filter
5)Tank pad
6)Handle bar grips and bar ends
7)Frame Sliders
8)Blank keys and chips

Its already running a K&N Air Filter which is in very good condition.
