Install Pics from our collection !!!

Hi Guys,

I thought this will make some interesting viewing for you.

This is our classic demo car from Italy. Showcasing Hertz Speakers & Audison Amplification.

The Car

External Graphics

2x ML5400 Subs... YES... they are 21" subs getting 1000 watts cont per coil

You can see the doors with 2x HV200 (8") midbass with HL70 midrange (3") and Space1 tweeter in each. Note the ribbon supertweeters on the dash. You can also see 4x VRx series amps in the floor running full balanced off the Denon DCT-Z1 reference HU. Dont forget the 2x ML2500D 10" Subs in the kick panels...

close up of the HV200L paper pulp cone midbass... the 10" sub in the background

close up of the 21" subs. All the Mille series subs are dual spider design and meant strictly for SQ

The rear door baffle. See the HV165 (6.5") midbass, HL70 midrange and Space1 tweeter.

Now this is not a loud "discotheque on wheels". This represents where we come from. Which is sound quality above all... After all its all about the music.

Sonically yours....

I really wonder if those many speakers are needed for great sound!!! 2subs, 2midbass, 4speakers and 4tweeters should be more than enough to extract awesome sound...The wattage will depend on the car size...Any comments on that? Or does it have a different reason for puttin in those number of speakers??

Navinji, of course they're for marketing... They're demo cars. Isnt that the point?

And, one shouldnt judge installs just by 'looking' at them. Good demos are meant to be heard, not just ogled at. The pics can only give you the concept... which is not enough to judge any install.

Some of the most funky looking installs sound like doggy crap and some of the simplest looking sound awesome.

Unfortunately when we get teh chance to hear Demo cars it is at a show. At the show everyone is vying to drown the others out. even when shows/demo booths ere moved to hotel rooms you'd find a few spoil sports who would turn it up so loud it'd spoil the party for other manufacturers around them.

My kid thinks I am God. This will end when he is 5 or 6 and he realises the sad truth! :-)
