Photoshopped : Renault Clio F1........

I'd mentioned in the BAR topic that i'd be converting some road cars into their F1 siblings..............

So here's my 2nd car on the list, the "Renault Clio F1".

Original pic

My version

version 2....

Here's the same pic with Alonso sitting inside.

And, here's the pic from where i flicked his face.....

I know it's not very clear, but thats how the pic is. It would have looked artificial if Alonso's face was clearer than the background.

Thanx a lot. It's all in the image resolution. More the number of pixels, the neater the work.

I've found a Z4 pic which i plan to convert into a Williams F1. Hope that comes out well........

Yes i did it using PS version 7.

Here's a brief account of what i did.
1. Lightened the colour of the car to the "Renault Blue".

2. Used the "Polygonal Lasso" to select the various yellow parts (which i first painted in red using the brush tool in "Colour Mode&quot.

3. Then i went to "Hue/Sat" (ctrl-U), selected the red path and played around with the Hue, Saturation and Lightness until i got the desired Yellow.

4. Did the same thing for the black too, select and paint in red, go to hue/sat, reduce lightness to min. Red becomes black.

5. As for the stickers, i had to make them on PS using a diff file and then dragged it onto this file. Used the transformation tool to skew, distort, add perspective and reduce size. To fill the "ELF" and "MILD SEVEN", i had to first "Rasterise" the layer and then fill it with White.

Make sure you create a new layer for each and every coloured path, sticker etc. So that you can make any changes later on without much trouble........

PS is very easy and interesting, all you need is interest, creativity and loads of patience.

Regards...

I guess that depends from person to person.

The most common way of painting a car is, select the car area and then fill colour. Most online PS sites will tell you this.

But you have to be "Original" with your working techniques. I don't care what or how others work on PS, i have my own ways of doing it and i'm happy as long as i'm comfortable working with them.

In PS, it doesn't matter whether you calculate 2+2 or 6-2 or 100-96, the result is the same.

Regards...

Oh man, I never thought I'd say this but I want a clio now!!

Shantanu, simply fantastic job with the Clio. How about Alonsos driver number on the roof (in huge fonts like the british flag on the mini's roof)

Just one more thing, how about replacing the drivers face with Alonso`s.That would create a good impact overall.
And later, how about mailng the fully done up pic to Renault from T-Bhp???
That`ll be happennin.
