Yes I forgot! Thanks da. I somehow felt I had seen this car before.This bugger doesn't attend our meets in-spite of so many reminders. He keeps travelling between Bangy and Mys.

Some pics from recent mini FCB Meet at Sujith's house to celebrate 2 years since FCB had their First Official Rally ie on April 19th 2009. We cut a cake and celebrated on road along with FIATs!

Next FCB Meet will mostly be in June when it starts raining!!

There is a '56 FIAT for sale, contact Mr Venkateshappa at 9535058613 or 9632348882, he has a spare engine as well. The car is not totally original as it has some modifications like floor shift etc he mentioned however that all the original parts which have been changed are available with him.
Unfortunately he did not have the 56 model tail light assembly which I desperately need for my car.
My FIAT is back in the workshop as I had a gasket blowout due to overheating.

A close friend of mine got a Premier FIAT S1 Padmini from Delhi. From the past few days, I have had the opportunity of using this Padmini FIAT as my daily drive to my Hospital. The s1 is 1996 model, completely stock and very well taken care off by my friend.

The car attracts everyones attention on the road and also the other Docs in my Hospital. I wonder that may be this wonderful masterpiece of engineering might cure some diseases if my patient is taken for a drive.

The s1 with Nissan gearbox and de-gaussing tank reduces the engine noise so much. With better two-pipe manifold the sound beat is simply to die for. India is very very lucky to had this car on road for so many years.Thanks to the Bangalore FIAT Club and Mumbai FIAT Club, FIATs are back on road. Hats off to you guys.

The good news is, as I am typing this message, my 1954 model Millecento will be delivered to me after a restoration of three years. Its a sparingly driven car driven just 40,000kms in 5 decades. Sounds exciting rite? Yes, you should be. The car is actually 90% original as it was in a garage locked for 42 years when I was in US.
