Here is a Tata Sierra for sale at City Light Theatre, Shivaji Park, Dadar, Mumbai! Pretty much original and complete but has caught some rust.

All badges missing. Must be surely a relatively recent repaint.

A modified Sierra on sale, posted on TBHP Classifieds.

I didnt like the mods, though. Takes away the character that was associated with this beauty. Price high, too

Where is the Sierra? That one has ensured to get a totally different identity along with change of DNA! Sierra was always a beauty to watch on roads and an immortal one!

It's in your neighborhood, saar ! Specifically - Mysuru nagara !

Yes, it;s got a different identity - but I so much prefer the original styling, exp at the front. The rear half reminds me of the old 207.

Not sure if this one has been updated for changes made - even though the overall dimensions remain the same.

If he wanted a soft-top at the back, why didn't he just buy a TataMobile instead

? Weird that Tata went through the effort of adding a hard-top over the Tatamobile, only to have this gentleman remove it again!

Fond memories of my white Sierra. Gone places where I wouldn't have taken my Gypsy. Because the Gypsy would have survived but I wouldn't have. You felt like a king in that driver's seat. It was underpowered at 68BHP but man, it could fly! And speedbreakers? What are those?! You could polish them off with disdain.

The tyres lasted upwards of 50k for each set. 215/75R15. MRF Zigma VT. The OE set lasted 54k, the old gentleman at Madhus, Bangalore, was surprised. My second and third sets were the MRF Zigma GP. Second set lasted 58K. Third set had run 52K with some life when I sold it and bought the Toyota Qualis. Boy! What a downgrade it was in comfort!!

We ran a Sierra (anthracite grey) from '96 till '04 and reluctantly sold it because of the endless niggles. We got the princely sum of Rs.75,000/- for it, when we surrendered it to Sai Motors, Goregaon in exchange for a new Scorpio Glx.

Despite the niggles, we had a lovely time with the Sierra - touring from Mumbai > Lucknow and on to Uttaranchal. Our love affair with Naukuchiatal was launched via the Sierra, in fact.

The photo shows our daughter with Daisy (while she was still a stripling) during one of our Sunday jaunts to the Borivili national park. This is one of only two photos of the Sierra still surviving!

Dear All, I am in a dilemma about my 1999 Sierra Turbo model which i am not able to use due to NGT ruling here in delhi. The RC has expired and its fading away as the transport department is not willing to issue the NOC to get it registered to other town/state. I do not want to junk it. :( please any suggestions would be appreciated. Pics will follow soon

Well, dont know about him, but the dearth of a decent 207 with papers and private registration is making me think a bit extra. What if:

Apparently, some modifications can be done on out-of-production vehicles.

This clean Tata Sierra Turbo was spotted by a friend on the Western Expressway recently! This is honestly the cleanest Sierra I have seen in a long time. It's good to see that some people still keep and preserve these yesteryear cars

I think I have spotted the same car at Prabhadevi in the the temple lane.

I think I have spotted the.....

Beautifully preserved / maintained Sierra. The original Sierra had 215 section tyres and I'm wondering if these are slightly narrower than the original.
