I also enquired same from local dealer and he was offering free ins and 20000 cash disc , but he advised to wait till Jan as there could be more disc on 2012 manufacturing models

The problem with Ford is really their follow up's , pushing offers is the least of their problems , twice i got a call from the same dealer - i said give me a break up of the 72 and confirm availability of petrol , both times they did not bother getting back. Same with another different dealer who called me as well.

I got the same quote from Chennai. Only Corporate Discount of 7K is applicable along with Free Insurance. If you opt out of Insurance then the cost is reduced by another 10K.

I got these initial quotes for Honda City and Verna from Coimbatore. It's for my cousin.

City 1.5 E MT Rs. 9,33,757/- OTR

Guys, is this a good offer before further bargains? Pre-sales experience was good with the Honda dealer.

Pre-sales experience with Hyundai dealer was just average when compared to that of Honda's. It was something like, if you want take it. Dealer just had 1.6 CRDI SX (O) alone for the display. No lower variants of both diesel and petrol. That was a big letdown. So most probably Verna is out of the list, as I feel the price is not attractive compared to City. Moreover I was informed that EX doesn't have ABS. Is it so?

If anyone is interested, there is a 2011 White Passat HL with VW Downtown. The actual OTR price is 34.5. They are willing to get the price down to 29L. Maybe a bit more bargaining & you could get another 50K or so off.

Getting the following deal on Ritz in Delhi:

Ritz vxi (New Shape): 4.90 (on- Road)
Ritz zxi (old shape): 5.20 (on-Road)

I am inclined towards going in for the zxi (old shape) due to significant add-ons but a little skeptical about going in for an Aug manufactured vehicle.

I need to confirm the deal tomorrow as the vxi is the last piece remaining with the dealer in the desired color. Should I go for zxi? Is there a significant change between the old and new ritz?

Satnam - that's a good deal. By exchange bonus do you mean simple cash discount without exchange or the cash discount received for having sold your old car to TML dealership ? If so what model and how much did you get ?
