Why is the Beetle being towed!

You might find that Standard 10 GDL 4176 elsewhere on the forum. I recall photographing it in Goa years back.

Keep the pics coming.

This one's used for wedding purposes, everythings being changed in this car, totally butchered.

Black Humber Hawk

Hi Karl, This Humber is in very good condition, I met the Captain he told
me, it is in the Army since fifties. I have two photos of it taken in June 2006 in Deccan Vintage car in Secunderabad. Very few Humber seen in
Hyderabad and it has many similaries with Hillman. Humber used to very
strong and sturdy cars used by generals.

The ivory car is probably 55-56. A friend has a similar example, a 56, purchased new. They were nicknamed Adenauer after the erstwhile Mayor of Berlin who used one.
Hello from a brand new member,

Just to add, Konrad Adenauer was the first chancellor of West Germany. He, apparently, took his beloved official 300 everywhere!

Cheers

Hi SuperSelect,

I have been in love with Citroens (particularly the Traction) since I was a kid. I tried my name for the ID, needless to say it was already taken , so I thought I might use the name of one of my favourite cars.

Great meeting you TractionAvant !! We'll be in touch for any Citroen related stuff. My personal favourite's the Deux Chevaux, followed by the SM, the DS and the Traction !

All you Citroen fans, have you seen Citroen DS in Asia ?

While rummaging through my pics I came across these of what appears to be a 1920s Fiat (?) used as the salad bar in a Delhi restaurant ingeniously called Chor Bizaare. Is anybody famliar with it?

There also appears to be a baby Austin in the same restaurant or a branch of the same.

Another similar concept, possibly from the same restaurant again. Can you identify the car?

Incidentally the Portico restaurant on JM road in Pune has had an Austin 7 standing at the entrace (inside the building) for years together. Even the lights come on in the nights.
